MIGHTY NORTH FORK TRIATHLON
RUN: 3.1-Miles (5K)
As time goes on and we continue to navigate through uncertainty we hope you and your family are well. Our thoughts, prayers and appreciation go out to all healthcare and essential workers.
In these challenging times, we want to offer athletes options. We have, therefore, decided to convert the annual Mighty North Fork Triathlon to a virtual duathlon.
To participate in the virtual duathlon Run 2 miles, Bike: 7 miles, Run: 5k, completing each between May 25 and May 31, 2020 and submit your results. After you upload your results you will receive this year’s finisher medal, t-shirt, goodie bag and 30% off of next year’s race. In addition, we will include a custom pair of socks and a custom visor.
All finishers will be entered into a post-race raffle for the following prizes:
– $50 Runner’s Edge gift certificate
– $50 Babylon Bike Shop gift certificate
– Bicycle Makeover Spread the Love door decal
– EventPower Sprint Race Passport (Four Races) for the 2021 season.
Note to racers:
EventPower will be donating a portion of overall registration fees to Community Action Southold Town, Inc. (CAST)
A regular beneficiary of the annual Mighty North Fork Triathlon, CAST has been serving low-income individuals and families on the North Fork of Long Island since 1965. CAST helps struggling community members meet their basic needs in the areas of nutrition, clothing, energy, employment, and education. Now, an increased number of families are in need. We hope that many racers will take part in the virtual duathlon with this in mind.
For those that have already signed up for the Mighty North Fork Triathlon and do not wish to do the virtual duathlon, you have the option to defer your race entry to 2021 or 2022. The dates for those races are not set, but we plan for the race to be the Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend. To select your race option, please click here.
* Registration fee timetable adjusted in consideration of circumstances and concerns we all face due to CoronaVirus (COVID-19).

RunSignUp has the ability to search for your photos by Bib# or Name. Try it, it’s easy.
The photos can also be found by going to your results page on RSU, and clicking on the small photo icon under your name. The bib# tagging is done automatically by google software and is not always perfect. It is being worked on by RSU, to make it better.
You can also manually add missing bib#’s yourself, so don’t hesitate to help when the software missed it!
