A Virtual 100 mile tour! RIDE or RUN for BEER!
You’re out there so rack up the miles for beer! Here’s the scoop:
We all start ‘at’ the Brooklyn Brewery and finish ‘at’ the Greenport Harbor Brewing Company in Peconic with a stop ‘at’ Six Harbor Brewing Company in Huntington. As you complete the distances between Breweries you earn beers! There is an interactive map that allows you to track where you are on the “course” and see the route from start to finish.
Everyone that registers receives two pints from Brooklyn Brewery. Make your miles to Six Harbors and earn yourself a pint from Six Harbors. When you complete the distance from Huntington to Greenport you officially completed the Red White & Brew Tour and earned your 4th beer! After your results are submitted for the tour you will receive a t-shirt, finisher medal (beer bottle opener) and your beer tickets. You have 1 year to get to each brewery and enjoy your FREE beer.
Plus, we will have giveaways each week for registered participants to get prizes from participating Breweries!
HOW:
- Secure your spot by registering at: runsignup.com/Race/NY/USA/RedWhiteBrewsTour
- Design your routes. You might already have some favorite routes. If not, there are easy to use, free resources to map and calculate distances. We like mapmyrun.com. Please plan a route that suits your ability and has low traffic.
- Use your phone or GPS-enabled watch to track your distance and time.
- Upload your results. It’s simple! Just click here to get to the upload page.
WHERE:
Anywhere! One of the upsides of virtual events is you decide where you roam. Please be safe and maintain social distance while you make your course all your own.
WHO:
Another distinct upside of a virtual series like this is that people from anywhere can conveniently join in. Have a brother in North Carolina and a Sister in Boston? Encourage them to join us! You must be 21 to qualify for beer tickets.
