Get race ready!  EventPower will be hosting a triathlon clinic for Adult and Youth athletes.

The clinic will be held on April 4, 2020 and is open to the public. If you can swim a lap, you can participate. You do not need to be registered for our races to join us.

We will host the multi-sport clinic at The Nassau County Aquatic Center which is were EventPower’s Mini MightyManTriathlon takes place. The Nassau County Aquatic Center, widely recognized as one of the finest swimming facilities in the U.S, regularly hosts major swimming competitions

The pool is heated.

Youth Triathlon Clinic

The youth clinic is from 7:45AM-9:00AM and is free. There is no registration fee but registration is required because space is limited. The youth clinic will include 45 minutes outside reviewing transition areas, the bike course and run course, then 15 minutes in the pool. We will also conduct a helmet fitting lesson. Bring all your race day gear.

Adult Triathlon Clinic

The adult clinic is from 8:00am–11:00am.The adult clinic will include 45 minutes in the pool, 1 hour in the class room and then we will run the course. Please bring all your race day gear, except your bike. The adult triathlon clinic is $40 until February 29th and then $45 until April 3rd.

Unique Expertise!

The Volunteers from the Lightning Warriors Long Island Youth Triathlon Team will assist and share their knowledge about training and racing.  Whether you are preparing for your first triathlon or training to improve your T1 time, this is a great event for anybody that wants to TRI!

What’s included?

  • Swim session: This will be an in-water session. You must bring your swimsuit and goggles.
  • Tri-Talk Session: Cycling and transition tips and tricks.  DO NOT bring your bike, but please bring your bike helmet. We will go over how to fit it properly. Please bring everything else that you plan on having with you on race day.
  • Running session: Bring running shoes and running attire.We will run the 2-mile run course.
  • Presentation: Learn about training, equipment and get answers to your questions.
