COURSE : Swim: 750 Meters, Bike: 17K, Run: 5K
Athletes enjoy the course for its natural beauty and small town atmosphere.
SWIM-750 Meters
Out and back swim in Fort Pond. Fresh water swim with temperatures in the mid to upper 60's. Wetsuits are recommended, but not mandatory.
BIKE - 17 Kilometers (10.5 Miles) 1 loop with a challenging climb
RUN - 5 Kilometers (3.1 Miles)
Mostly flat with 1 kilometer rolling section around Fort Pond.
TRANSITION AREA
The transition area will open at 5:15 AM and will close at 6:40 AM. The transition area will remain closed until the last athlete goes out on the run course, approximately 8:45 AM.

On or after May 1st Individual Participant: $95 Relay Team: $125
On or after July 1st Individual Participant: $105 Relay Team: $140
On or after August 15th Individual Participant: $115.00 Relay Team: $150.00
MANDATORY PACKET PICK UP SCHEDULE This is a preliminary schedule.
1) Wednesday, September 29, 4:00-8:00 PM: Modell's Sporting Goods, 2000 Hempstead Turnpike, East Meadow, NY 11554 2) Race Site: Friday, October 1 2:30PM - 8:30PM.

All participants must pick up their own packet. ALL relay members must pick up their packet together. NO EXCEPTIONS!
NOTE:
A photo ID is required for packet pick up. All participants must pick up their own race packet, including ALL relay team members. The MightyMan Sprint is a USA Triathlon (USAT) sanctioned event. All athletes must have a valid USAT Card. If you do not have one or do not bring it with you to packet pick up, then you must purchase a one day card at packet pick up for $10.
RACE START
The first wave starts at 6:40 AM. Waves will be posted at packet pick up.
RACE DAY
Arrive at race site on Saturday, October 2 by 5:30 AM to set up your bike and get body marked. Transition area opens at 5:15 AM.
CUT-OFF TIMES
Swim - 45 minutes Bike - 90 minutes from start of race Run -2 hours 20 minutes from start of race
AWARDS
Top three overall Male & Female Top three Mixed, Female, Male Relays Top three Challenged Male & Challenged Female Individual Age Groups; top three in each category. 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+
Following Race: Starts right after final finisher crosses the finish line. Awards Ceremony and Raffle. All athletes receive a raffle ticket at the ceremony. Athletes are encouraged to stay for the awards or have someone pick up their award. Awards will only be shipped post event if a pre paid postage envelope for 13 ounces is sent to the race organization within one week of the event.
USAT RULES
All participants in events sanctioned by USA Triathlon must be members of USA Triathlon and be able to present a valid annual membership card or must purchase a USA Triathlon single event permit. All age group athletes must participate and compete in the age group division corresponding to the athlete’s age on December 31 of the year of the event.

REFUNDS AND TRANSFER POLICIES
A 50% refund will be available until Wednesday, March 31st. NO REFUNDS after Tuesday April 1st. Registrations may not be transferred to another person. Registrations may not be transferred to another race.

PARKING
There will be no parking at the race site or on Edgemere Road. Accommodations in the village are walking distance from the race site. There is plenty of municipal parking available in the village for those not staying near the race site.

REMINDERS
• NO HEADPHONES DURING ANY PART OF THE EVENT or you will be disqualified. • No helmet, no race. • Helmet strap must be fastened before taking bike from rack and remain fastened until after bike is replaced. • No Drafting! Leave three bike lengths unless passing. • Run number must be on front of body during entire run! • Any unsportsmanlike behavior to other competitors and/or event staff will be dealt with by an immediate disqualification. • RACE IS RAIN OR SHINE
